Getting Started
Ok first off I'm going to assume a few things:
1. You know how to use tools.
2. You know how to take your bike apart.
3. You know how to put it back together again.
If these are 3 things you don't know how to do, then stop right now.
Still with me? Ok let’s go.
First drain the oil out of your bike. Next remove your fairings from your bike so that you can get to the sprocket cover. Remove the sprocket cover so you can get to the Neutral Sensor Switch (Suzuki Part #37720-20C00). I have the Neutral Sensor Switch circled in red in the picture on the left. It's made of black plastic with 3 wires coming out of it and has white RTV silicone filling in the middle. Two Phillips head screws hold it in. **WARNING!** There is oil behind the sensor! If you don't drain the oil before hand ALL of it will leak out on the floor! Also be careful not to let the KS Pawl Roller fall out in the floor. It should stay in there without any problems, but I would stuff a rag in there just to be safe.
