Maple Scotch Snaps

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon maple flavoring
- 1/2 cup pecans (optional)
- 2 tablespoons Nesquick (chocolate milk mix)
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375F
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and butter
- Blend with a mixer until finely particulated (crumbly, not doughy)
- Reserve 1/4 cup for topping
- Add remainder of ingredients EXCEPT Nesquick
- Mix thorougly
- Shape into balls using a rounded spoon
- Come reserved crumbs and Nesquick
- Roll the balls in the mix and place on an ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake 12-15 minutes
