This is a price comparison of three different setups. The XL 650 without the bullet feeder is not shown on the XL 650 page.
The difference between an XL 650 without a bullet feeder and an RL 550B is only $315. For that $315, you're going to a full progressive press that can churn out quite a few number of rounds per hour. You could save $210 of that $315 by dropping the case feeder, but at that point, you may as well just go with the RL 550B, unless you're planning to upgrade later.
The XL 650 with the bullet feeder is the ideal setup, but Mr. Bullet Feeder is expensive at $580.
If you do add the bullet feeder, it's probably a good idea to spend the extra $40.95 for the low powder sensor. Since you're cranking out so many more rounds per hour, it's a lot easier to miss the fact the powder hopper is going dry.
